Privacy & cookie statement

Introduction

Pavo respects the privacy of those with whom it has contact. These may be clients, employees, business relations, website visitors or others. Pavo considers it important that your personal information is treated confidentially and that privacy laws and regulations are complied with. This privacy statement informs you about how Pavo processes your personal data.

Who is responsible for your data?

Pavo is the brand of Stimulan B.V. (hereinafter referred to as "Pavo"), a subsidiary of ForFarmers N.V. Pavo is the controller of the processing of your personal data. Pavo's contact details are: Pavo, PO Box 180, 5830 AD Boxmeer, e-mail:[email protected].

When does Pavo collect your personal data?

By personal data you can think of: name, address, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail or IP address. Pavo collects your personal data when, for example, you fill in a form, send a letter or e-mail, or call our customer service team. Also, when you visit one of Pavo's websites or leave your details there, or with one of the branches or employees, you provide us with personal data. Furthermore, personal data may be collected in the context of a (potential) client or business relationship with Pavo.

What does Pavo use your personal data for?

Pavo uses your personal data for the purpose of efficient and effective management, the delivery of products and services and, in particular, for carrying out the following activities:

Pavo processes personal data for carrying out appointments and maintaining relations with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders. For example, for carrying out an order and providing service, Pavo records the name, address details and telephone number of a client or his representatives and adjusts these details in case of change. Pavo can use your e-mail address to inform you about your order, invoice and/or the products ordered. Pavo bases this processing on the performance of an agreement or on its justified interests respectively, as maintaining relations is necessary in the context of normal business operations.

Pavo account

Pavo also processes personal data, such as login details, name, delivery and billing address and telephone number, when clients create a Pavo account. This account gives clients an overview of their orders. On the basis of the data made available - amongst other things - via the Pavo account, Pavo can help clients with questions, for example. Pavo aims at optimisation of service provision and bases this processing on legitimate interest.

In order to carry out marketing activities, Pavo processes personal data of (potential) relations, such as address details and e-mail address and your visit to our website. Where necessary, personal data are processed in this context on the basis of consent. For direct marketing purposes, personal data of clients are processed on the basis of justified interest as these activities are considered part of Pavo's normal business operations.

For communication purposes, such as providing information about products and/or services via a newsletter, the website, social media or otherwise and providing information relating to events, for example, clients' contact details may be processed. Prior consent is requested for providing information via a newsletter. With regard to cookies, please refer to the Cookie Policy below. For other communication purposes, Pavo's justified interests form the basis as those activities concern Pavo's normal business operations.

On the basis of permission, job-seekers can leave various details behind, such as their contact details and C.V. Based on these details, Pavo can assess whether a job-seeker will be invited for an interview.

For the purpose of financial administration and internal control, invoice and payment details, for example, are processed. Pavo makes use of a secured payment environment. When you pay iDeal or make a transfer, the data are stored in our administration to link the payment to your order. Furthermore, the bank account is only used if money has to be refunded. If paying by credit card, Bancontact (Mister Cash) or Paypal, the credit card details are sent from the secure environment directly to ModusLink Global Solutions. They execute the credit card payments. In this process, Pavo does not get to see the credit card details. ModusLink Global Solutions only indicates whether the payment was successful. The basis of this processing is execution of an agreement (order). Moduslink also uses your name and address details to validate payments.

In order to secure persons (such as visitors and staff), information, buildings and products, visitors to our locations are asked to leave name and company details, for example. Personal data are processed in this case on the basis of Pavo's legitimate interest in security.

For development and analysis purposes for the improvement of Pavo's websites, data such as web pages visited, click and surfing behaviour, internet browser and duration of a visit or session are processed. The basis for this processing is justified interest. Reference is made to the Cookie Policy below.

Insofar as these third parties process your data in the execution of business activities, the required measures will be taken to ensure that your data will only be processed insofar as necessary in this context. Pavo will further provide your data to third parties in cases where it is obliged to do so, such as by a court order, or if it has obtained prior permission to do so.
