Introduction

Pavo respects the privacy of those with whom it has contact. These may be clients, employees, business relations, website visitors or others. Pavo considers it important that your personal information is treated confidentially and that privacy laws and regulations are complied with. This privacy statement informs you about how Pavo processes your personal data.

Who is responsible for your data?

When does Pavo collect your personal data?

By personal data you can think of: name, address, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail or IP address. Pavo collects your personal data when, for example, you fill in a form, send a letter or e-mail, or call our customer service team. Also, when you visit one of Pavo's websites or leave your details there, or with one of the branches or employees, you provide us with personal data. Furthermore, personal data may be collected in the context of a (potential) client or business relationship with Pavo.

What does Pavo use your personal data for?  

Pavo uses your personal data for the purpose of efficient and effective management, the delivery of products and services and, in particular, for carrying out the following activities:

Pavo processes personal data for carrying out appointments and maintaining relations with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders. For example, for carrying out an order and providing service, Pavo records the name, address details and telephone number of a client or his representatives and adjusts these details in case of change. Pavo can use your e-mail address to inform you about your order, invoice and/or the products ordered. Pavo bases this processing on the performance of an agreement or on its justified interests respectively, as maintaining relations is necessary in the context of normal business operations.

Pavo account

Pavo also processes personal data, such as login details, name, delivery and billing address and telephone number, when clients create a Pavo account. This account gives clients an overview of their orders. On the basis of the data made available - amongst other things - via the Pavo account, Pavo can help clients with questions, for example. Pavo aims at optimisation of service provision and bases this processing on legitimate interest.

In order to carry out marketing activities, Pavo processes personal data of (potential) relations, such as address details and e-mail address and your visit to our website. Where necessary, personal data are processed in this context on the basis of consent. For direct marketing purposes, personal data of clients are processed on the basis of justified interest as these activities are considered part of Pavo's normal business operations.

For communication purposes, such as providing information about products and/or services via a newsletter, the website, social media or otherwise and providing information relating to events, for example, clients' contact details may be processed. Prior consent is requested for providing information via a newsletter. With regard to cookies, please refer to the Cookie Policy below. For other communication purposes, Pavo's justified interests form the basis as those activities concern Pavo's normal business operations.

On the basis of permission, job-seekers can leave various details behind, such as their contact details and C.V. Based on these details, Pavo can assess whether a job-seeker will be invited for an interview.

For the purpose of financial administration and internal control, invoice and payment details, for example, are processed. Pavo makes use of a secured payment environment. When you pay iDeal or make a transfer, the data are stored in our administration to link the payment to your order. Furthermore, the bank account is only used if money has to be refunded.

In order to secure persons (such as visitors and staff), information, buildings and products, visitors to our locations are asked to leave name and company details, for example. Personal data are processed in this case on the basis of Pavo's legitimate interest in security.

For development and analysis purposes for the improvement of Pavo's websites, data such as web pages visited, click and surfing behaviour, internet browser and duration of a visit or session are processed. The basis for this processing is justified interest. Reference is made to the Cookie Policy below.

With whom may Pavo share your personal data?

Pavo will not sell your personal data to third parties and will only use them for the purposes mentioned above. Pavo may call in third parties in the context of its business operations. Insofar as these third parties process your data in the execution of business activities, the required measures will be taken to ensure that your data will only be processed insofar as necessary in this context. Pavo will further provide your data to third parties in cases where it is obliged to do so, such as by a court order, or if it has obtained prior permission to do so.

Exchange of data within the ForFarmers Group (of which Pavo is part)

If you are a client of Pavo, your personal data may be exchanged within the ForFarmers Group, of which Pavo is part. This may be done for administrative purposes. Pavo bases this on its justified interests as these activities concern Pavo's normal business operations.

How long will your personal data be kept?

Pavo does not keep personal data longer than necessary for the purposes mentioned above. The retention period for personal data depends on the purpose for which the personal data are used. In any case, this takes into account the applicable legal retention period, the reasonable expectation that personal data will still be used for the purpose for which they were obtained and Pavo's justified interests. As soon as the personal data are no longer necessary, they will be anonymised or removed.

Security of your personal data

Pavo has taken the necessary security measures to prevent unlawful use of your personal data. Pavo has an information security policy and trains its staff in this area. In addition, Pavo has taken measures with regard to physical and digital access security.  

Requests for inspection, correction, removal, objection and data transfer

If you have your own account at Pavo, you have access to a large part of the personal data collected about you. You can change or remove some of the data yourself at any time, for example if it concerns your account data.

If you wish to inspect all personal data collected about you or if you do not have your own account at Pavo, you can submit a request to that effect by e-mail to [email protected].

You can also use this e-mail address if you wish to have personal details corrected or removed, if you wish to object to processing or if you wish to exercise the right to transfer data.

Pavo's Cookie Policy contains information on the use of cookies and similar techniques (hereinafter referred to as 'cookies' for short) on the Pavo website www.pavo.net and the Pavo websites linked to it.

These cookies are required for the site to work correctly, none of these cookies contain tracking information used by third parties. Without these cookies, the webshop does not work.

This website also uses Google Maps and Google Tag Manager. With Google Maps, a geographical map can be displayed on the website. It can also be used to create directions. Google Tag Manager is used to manage and deploy the tags on the website. Furthermore, a cookie from YouTube and/or Vimeo is placed via our website. Pavo uses this service to play videos on its websites.

How can you disable or delete cookies?

If you do not want websites to place cookies on your computer, you can adjust your browser settings so that you receive a warning before cookies are placed. You can also delete cookies that have already been placed.

On desktop

In Internet Explorer

Go to Tools > Internet options > General. Under Browse data, click 'Delete', tick 'Cookies and website data' and click 'Delete'. You can also select 'Keep data from favourite websites' here.

In Firefox

Go to Preferences > Privacy. Click 'Delete individual cookies' > 'Delete all' (or select which cookies you want to delete). You can also choose here whether to allow only functional cookies or block all cookies. This can be done via so-called blocking lists.

In the default browser of your Android phone/tablet

Open your browser and tap the three dots at the top right of your screen. Go to Settings > Privacy. Here you can turn 'Accept cookies' on and off.

In the default browser (Safari) of your iPhone/iPad
